The
Green Cedar Valley Initiative is designed to develop and promote the
Cedar Valley as an environmentally progressive
location to live, work and visit. This
will be achieved through Green Certification,
a grant awards and education on green
practices.
Through the GCVI Certification
program, businesses can be certified
as ‘green’ -- meaning that
they meet minimum requirements toward
reducing their negative environmental
impact, promoting earth-friendly choices
and encouraging healthy lifestyles.
By making these efforts, the GCVI hopes
to improve the quality of life for those
visiting and living in the Cedar Valley
and for people across the globe. |
